Today is Nov. 2nd...and that marks 14 months of being sick.
I ended up in the hospital on Sept. 2nd last year horribly ill with a ruptured appendix after it was misdiagnosed in the ER. (as many of you know...)
That is what spread my cancer from stage 1 to stage 4, but we had NO idea at the time.
Some people say that time flies...but I can tell you that the last year or so has just drug on!
MY GOAL: By Dec. 2nd...I want to have my body healed and be able to focus on my FAMILY for the holidays!
(Side note: Today, I went walking around the block with a friend and I made it!!! I was THRILLED!!!)

Congratulations! I'm certain I'll hear of other amazing feats of strength in the near future.
So happy for the progress that is being made! I am sure your family is equally excited to have you back in action as well. All our best as you continue on this journey to recovery.

I am so happy to hear u have made some strides forward! I am also happy to hear how u have been making some choices about your health with DR's and it shows sometimes we know what we want and need. Paid off so far! Enjoy the holidays!
Hooray!!! We are so glad to hear that things are looking UP!
"What About Bob" with Bill Murray as Bob and Richard Dreyfus as Dr. Leo Marvin was a movie classic in our family. This post of yours brought to mind Leo Marven's "landmark" book: "Baby Steps". It's good that you recap from September '09 every once in a while. There are so many who wander or stumble upon your blog, read, and do not post, who really need that perspective to truly appreciate current posts. It also helps each one of us to reflect upon unnumbered blessings!
Oh I bet you are glad that year is up! Yae!!!!! So glad you are better!!!
Hallelujah! We love you and your little family. We are grateful to see that even through the most trying trials... you are still full of faith and still with us. Your family has been through so much and you've been through more than we can get our heads around... but it's great to know that each of us is a child of God and that he loves EACH one of us. God is sooo GOOD! Brad and Susi Woodworth
You not only made it....you kicked my butt. I'd blame the flip flops, but I'm pretty sure that was not really my problem. I'm good for any time, let's enjoy this good weather while it lasts.
