Fun Reunion...Old and New friends, great times!

On the way back from McCall, we drove through Boise and stayed the night with Larry's best friend from middle school through college.  They hadn't seen eachother in almost 9 years!  I have gotten to know his awesome wife through blogging and we figured it was a long overdue reunion.  We had a great time catching up, laughing our heads off, and letting the kids play.  I don't think we will ever go that long without seeing them again!!!   Thanks Hilbigs!!!!

Shanda,
My name is Lisa Young and I live in Boise, Idaho. I was given your name by a friend who has a sister in your ward. I was diagnosed with appendiceal cancer in March 2007. I left a voice message at your home number last Sunday evening. I would love to talk to you, if you feel up to talking.

Better yet, I know Craig and Auna Hilbig. Auna was one of my Laurel's and I love her to death. I am so glad that you got to meet her. She is such a delight. I can't think of a better or more positive person for me to meet and become friends with. She has written me a couple of sweet notes the past couple of years and I cherish the memories of her in our Laurel class. She taled us into going to General Conference, one year and we actually got permission to go. It is one my best memories ever!! Her parent's live in our ward and have been such a source of strength to me through this ordeal.

I pray for you and your husband and daughters. This is such a horrible
disease and I continue to find more people who have it. Our journeys are all different but scary still the same.

I wish you the best and hope that we can meet or talk. Take care and hang in there.
