The Good news

I was able to shower today and am not connected to my constant infusion pump.  I think I am done with IV chemo for now.  That is one thing that brings a HUGE smile to my face.  Today there was also a double rainbow outside my house.   I spent good quality time with my girls today...I made dinner for my family...and I am exhausted.  It was a good day.  I saw that many friends all over the country are fasting for me and I can't help but feel  peace being whispered to my heart.

Shanda,
You are amazing. I'm so grateful you were able to see the double rainbow, just another tangible reminder that the Lord is so mindful of you. Miracles do happen and they will continue to happen for you. We will keep praying for you and will be fasting for you and your doctors on Friday. I looked up the definition of "rare" and one of them says "unusually good; excellent." I think that definitely describes you and your strength. I'm so sorry you have to do this again but I know you can handle it. The first in the world, eh? Well, when one of my kids goes to medical school he's going to be reading about you and how you fought off this cancer and will so much from your experience!!

So glad you get a break! Enjoy every minute of this next week. Drink in the moments, so when you go into surgery everything will be okay!I love you Shanda! And plan on seeing me when you get done with surgery. I'm going to bring fabulous friday to you! It's a date! I'll try to keep in tough with Larry and your Mom, so I know when the best time is to come. Shanda, I know we haven't known each other that well in the past, but in the last few years your frienship has meant the world to me! I soooo admire you and think of you every second of everyday, in a non stalker way, just so you know! have a fabulous Sunday and know the Lord is on our side!

This was great to read! It is wonderful to know you had this extraordinary day!
We saw a double rainbow here in Ammon,Idaho last night. My husband, Kevin, and I had read this post earlier in the day and thought of you when he spotted the "double" later in the evening! (Yes, he follows your blog faithfully too.)
