More info

When my specialist looked at my ct scan, he didn't have the radiology report yet.  Another appointment yesterday with my chemo oncologoist showed that I have free fluid in my abdomen, which they are going to watch.  It could be another ruptured ovarian cyst (as I have had several of those lately)...or it could be something to worry about.  They want to do another ct in 6 weeks to look again.  I have had SO many ct scans this year!!

Yesterday was another chemo day and I think it was technically round 9 of 12 (if they are going to count them all.)  I am trying not to get my hopes up that I have only two months left..but it would be SO nice.  My dream is to have a chemo free Christmas with my family.  I have been sick since last September...when my appendix first ruptured and I landed in the hospital for so long.  I am looking forward to feeling like myself again.  Right now I feel like I am trapped in someone else's body.  You should see the bruises all over me.  If you even touch me, it leaves a purple trail, but truthfully that is the least of my concerns.  Thanks again for caring and following my story!

I love that you are so open about so much that you are experiencing. I never would have imagined that even a touch could have such an affect. I too dream of a wonderful Christmas for you and many reassuring days and weeks leading up to it! Worrying is worthless so we'll just do our best to toss it out the window.

Have you ever wanted to have a ruptured cyst before? It's funny how perspective can change so quickly. I am hoping along with you that Christmas will be chemo (and bruise!) free. You are doing such a great job and cruising through these crazy treatments and side effects. You are such a fighter and you are doing a phenomenal job, I'll bet he fluid is nothing- keep up the great work and the fabulous attitude, and hug your cute girls for me!

Dude, I bet you don't even remember us from Cleveland. I was an anesthesia student for two years and I remember you guys lived kind of close to us near the Severance Walmart. We sat next to ya'll at church a few times. Someone asked if we remembered you and we said yes and they pointed us to your blog. We're one of those families that HAS prayed for you even though we don't know you that well. I get on everyone couple of weeks or so to see if our prayers are working! Our family is cheering you on here in Kansas City!
