Surgery Delayed until Friday

The Dr. needs to move my surgery that was scheduled for tomorrow. The lady getting hers done tomorrow is in serious trouble if she waits...I remember being in the same position with the same surgeon last year. I'm frustrated because I have waited months now and am in constant pain...but I am counting my blessings that I am not the one needing the "emergency" surgery to save my life this time. Thanks again for your prayers and amazing support.

I've learned...

I learned to NEVER take our bodies or our health for granted. I have been reminded that trials are more bearable if we meet them cheerfully. I know that the Lord truly does hear and answer our prayers. I have been reminded how precious life is...and how important it is that we use our time wisely. Cherish those moments that matter, love those around you, don't let the distractions of the world take your eyes off what matters most, don't put off the important things thinking you'll have time to do them later, and take time to smile and count your blessings each day! (and know that you can make a difference in someones life...as you have made a huge difference in mine. Thanks for taking the time to share in our journey!)
