Some GOOD news!

I just found out this week that our insurance OFFICIALLY paid for my HUGE surgery!  We hoped they would but several patients have been denied payment because it is still considered somewhat "experimental."  For me it was crucial...lifesaving...and necessary, so we would have done it no matter what.  I am so glad, though...that they are picking up the tab.  You should see the pile of bills I have....AMAZING!!!  I am grateful for our health insurance at this time!

Hi Shanda! I know the posting says Ben, but it's Mindy, Larry's cousin. I can't say enough how sorry I am for your ordeal! My mom has been keeping me posted here and there and directed me to your blog. I had a c-section six weeks ago and the recovery has been miserable by my standards, I can't even imagine the crap (for lack of a better word) you're going through!! I wish there was something I could do for you! Just try and stay positive and remember that all of this will eventually pass!! You, of course, are in our prayers!
