Camping at the Beach
We needed a break from the Tri-City heat, so we went to the Oregon Coast and had a blast. The weather was perfect and the scenery was spectacular. Pictures never do a memory justice, but here are a few. Larry and Aana had a great time on the beach building sandcastles. Addie loved feeling the texture of the sand on her feet. We went to some amazing tide pools during the low tide where we saw (and touched) hundreds of star fish, sea anenomies, crabs, and much more. We saw whales feeding off shore and shooting up water, which was really neat. We went to a great aquarium and Larry had some fresh seafood at a little restaurant on the water. We flew kites, cooked smores on the campfire, and enjoyed a break from the current stresses of our lives. It was a beautiful place and we look forward to going back.
